Why buy hand made???...

Remember awhile ago I took the pledge to buy handmade???
Well, I was going thru the sign up sheet this morning and wanted to repeat some
of the fabulous commets.

"Be independent and support handmade!
Why spend money to blend in with society when you can stand out instead?"

I obviously have a personal interest in people
buying hand made.
But- handmade isn't a dirty word anymore.
It isn't pink crochet girls covering toilet paper rolls
or ill fitted scratchy mittens.

There is some seriously beautiful hand crafted
stuff out there that is real quality.

If you go to this page a lot of people have included their
web sites and blogs.
You can click on and see what they are making and selling.

Tons of great stuff to look at.

And lastly, here at home there are many great stores to go to.
Here on Richmond Row is...
For the Art of It and Gift of Art.
There are great merchants in the Covent Garden market and then
all the way to Museum London and their gift shoppe.
