Retro Summer Nighties & Skirts

Sorry for the long delay between posts.
I have been trying desperately to be more
productive and focus
on the sewing and leave the computer behind for awhile.

Tomorrow is the first day of summer!!! Yippee!
And, the one thing (amongst many) that I love about summer
is being being able to wear my retro nighties.
I adore retro nighties from the 60's and 70's.
You can't wear them if it is too hot...or like me
don't have air conditioning in your apt.
But this time of the year is perfect.
They are so flowy and pretty and feminine.
I have some in the studio now..that are so cute.

This nighty is one of my favs.

I have been trying to get some new skirts done this week.


This remind me of a 40's apron...there is something
vintage about 2 small front pockets on a skirt w tiny flowers.

These and other new skirts are in the studio..look for new skirts all weekend.

Well, Pussycats it has to be short and sweet today.
I am off to try and create some minor miracles w fabric.
